When you arrive at LUUM, you’ll be greeted your lash artist, who will give you a tour of the studio and the technology, demonstrating all the safety assurances (if it’s your first time). Then, while you sip a beverage, they’ll help you decide what style of lashes would be most flattering and appropriate for your unique style and features.

When you’re ready, they’ll assist you in reclining in a luxurious spa chair, and pamper you with any other amenities you need — fluffy socks and a blanket for maximum comfort, and even headphones to ensure you can listen to your favorite music or podcast during the service (unless of course you prefer your own!).

Once you’re reclined into soft, musical bliss, your lash artist will quickly cleanse your lashes and apply soft foam eye-masks to your upper and lower lids. These pads serve two purposes: first, to keep your eyes cozy, still, and protected during the service; second, they help guide our Lash-Technology’s cutting-edge and micro-precise computer vision via way-finding markers printed on their surface.

Once that’s all complete, your lash artist will raise your chair into position for the service (you’ll still be mostly reclined and the only thing you’ll notice is some brightness, which is just so the system can get a very clear picture of your lash area).

As the lash artist gently narrates what's happening, the technology begins to softly apply extensions. Many clients have reported that this part feels like “butterfly kisses”, and feels much more delicate than human applications.

The technology will apply extensions to one eye, then the other (soon, though, it will do both eyes at once, which is obviously twice as efficient!).

Once all the extensions have been applied, your lash artist will gently recline you back into a flat position and inspect your new lashes, performing any touch-ups or bespoke flourishes necessary to complete your fabulous look.

Once your pads are removed and you give the thumbs-up to your fantastic new flutterers, you’ll be on your way!

Regardless, when you’re heading out the door, you’ll look and feel fabulous and excited to return for a touch-up in a few weeks.
