Do you want to work on exciting, advanced, consumer technology? Are you ready to be part of a team to help build the future of advanced beauty innovations? Do you have a passion for robotics, AI and machine learning? If so, you’re in the right place.

LUUM is building a new robotic system for autonomously applying eyelash extensions directly to a person’s eyelashes. We’re looking to expand our team to complete a fully superhuman, fourth-generation, AI-driven robot. Our first-generation system has been in use at our Lash Lab in Oakland, CA for two years and was also used at an Ulta Beauty location.

The systems feature an array of highly customized actuation and machine vision – both classical and neural network based – to precisely manipulate and attach the tiny extension fibers onto natural eyelashes. In more than six years of development, we’ve assembled many of the pieces of this difficult puzzle – enough to provide real services to paying customers – and now we’re looking to expand our team to advance the technology even further.

If you’re interested in working on a concrete physical application of robotics and AI for use in the real world, we invite you to send us your resume.
